stayed here before in dalbeattie and maxwell arms was even better this time. centrally located, clean room and friendly locals. affordable with a bar next door. highly recommend for a comfortable and enjoyable stay exploring the town.

Comforts of good-sized and new-fashioned guest room with private facilities were fabulous. The location was great, really close to the beer garden as well as the pub.

Immaculate rooms and friendly manager. Convenient key location and easy access to the pub next door. The locals were welcoming and the housekeeper in the morning was friendly.

Uncomfortable mattress and squeaky bed. No breakfast provided despite website mentioning it.
